Has anybody shot any Hornady critical duty?

LE ammo. It's specifically designed for excessive penetration.

Critical Defense is designed for self/home defense.

Yea critical defense is were its at. Shot around 300 rounds through my cc gun. Good stuff.

i use the Hornady XTP line of ammo with good results. Hornady makes very good ammo, and though i haven't used that particular type, i suspect it will work just fine for what it's designed for.

I have shot the Critical Duty and use it in several ccw pistols. Very good ammo that packs one heck of a whallop. Give it a try and see what you think. Good luck!!

I carry Hornady Critical Defense Hollow points as well.
Great penatration.

Cool. Care to share the results and which factors that the duty ammo outperformed the defense line in? I like to get good ammo data from folks who have tried several different types.

I too am curious why you prefer the duty to the defense.

The duty ammo is specifically designed for excessive penetration for LE. You aren't going to be shooting through car doors or barricades.

That's what I carry in my ccw it has amazing ballistics and reviews check out doctacdads test on chicken
