Default Help: Dillon 550B

Hey guys, just finished setting up my 550b, or so I thought.

Dies and everything are fine and I can complete a round if I insert each primer on it's own. But primers will not feed on their own out of the tube.

When I first pulled the cotter pin and the primers went down the shoot I started a new piece of brass in, it deprimed and resized correctly but a new primer was not placed on the primer cup.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Did you index the primer plate? It takes about seven pulls before a primer shows up

Did you rotate the primer magazine until it dropped down to correct location? That one got me at first.

Yeah I got it going then, I may be the biggest idiot on here.

I took out the guide rod at some unknown point and never put it back, they were just in the black tube piled up. I pulled the whole assembly off dumped them checked it put it back together and realized I forgot the guide before. About craped my pants for a second.

Thanks for the help anyways

Glad you got it working!

I've made my own mistakes, but not that one... yet
