HP is an Austrian company that is currently tuning out military ammo, so chances are that your ammo is probably over runs. To my knowledge, no ammo, that is currently produced is corrosive with the exception of some Russian ammo that is intended for Arctic use. IIRC, this ammo is generally steel cased also.

You might want to contact them just for peace of mind. Google turns up their web addy.

I have always heard that the Hirtenberg ammo is some of the better 7.62 NATO available. Non-corrosive and Boxer primed.
If you want to be absolutely sure, pull a bullet and dump out the powder. Take a small piece of lumber (1 X 4 X 8 works well) and pound two or three nails through it. Chamber the primed case and shoot it with one of the nails inside the muzzle leave the board outside for a few days. If the nail you shot at rusts significantly faster/more than the other, you have corrosive ammo. If all nails look the same after 2-3 days, you are good to go.

Corrosive ammunition won't hurt your gun if you clean it when you're done shooting. I only use cheap russian and bulgarian ammo in my SKS and M44 carbine and I make sure to clean them well when I'm done shooting.
