Default Has anyone tried reloading .357 SIG rounds?

Has anyone tried reloading .357 SIG rounds? I am having chambering problems with my reloads. The round will not seat all the way in the chamber with my reloads and therefore the slide on my XD will not fully close the chamber and then the firing pin will not strike the primer fully to discharge. Does anyone have any sugestions? I have heard that you can try putting the brass for the SIG rounds through a .40 resizing die first and then go throught the normal reloading sequence with the .357 SIG dies.

Default .357 sig

Are you using brass that was first fired though your gun? If not, you may need to adjust the die down to set the shoulder back a little. You may have a tightly chambered barrel. Get a good max case gauge or pull out you barrel and use it for a gauge. The case should drop in with out help leaving the base even with the chamber hood (the little protrusion on the top of the barrel).

If a resized case does not drop in easily you need to adjust the die 1/4 turn increments until you get the proper shoulder orientation.
