I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the Harvey Deprimer. It's a fantastic tool which I think every reloader (especially hand loader) should have on his bench. I just got mine in a few days ago, and its pretty much the cat's meow. Definitely handy not being tied down to the bench while depriming.

A word to the wise though: if you get cleaning media stuck in a primer flash hole, don't try to force the Harvey Deprimer to do its job. I snapped my pin that way. Luckily, as part of their warranty, if the pin breaks in the first 1000 cases they send you a replacement for free.

Very pleased with mine. Very sturdy construction. The pin only broke because of my own fault.

The basic design dates back to the Sharps Rifles of the 1870s. What advantage is this over the depriming die and press. A Universal decapping die is much less expensive.

With this you aren't tied down to the bench. I deprimed a few hundred cases while watching TV, relaxing on my couch. Plus you can easily sort range pick up brass.

Its just a nice convenience.

Yes, I used to too. But I figure this would be handy for people who hand load with a Lee kit, or maybe someone with a single stage press.

Just a handy tool, IMO. Sturdy construction and not a terrible price.
