Getting old lube out of rcbs lubeamatic
Any bullet casters out there know of a quick and nonmessy way of getting old lube out of a lube a matic 2 bullet sizer? I tried the hair dryer method but that takes FOREVER. Sorry if this is a common thread but i searched it but couldnt find any old posts on this particular subject.

If ya got a big enough pot, boil it.

Stay away from hair driers and heat guns because you can easily get some areas too hot and others not hot enough. The hot water will heat the entire unit uniformly, and you won't run the risk of melting any O-Rings or rubber seals. This method will also get any old, unwanted lube out of your dies. Just toss them in the water and give them the same treatment afterward. |
