Default Georgia Arms ammo arived today

So here they are. I just got my shipment in from Georgia Arms. I ordered 500 rounds of 38 Special and 300 rounds of 45 ACP, all for about $250 including shipping. I really liked their service, my order was processed and shipped within a few hours and it arrived on my doorstep this morning. It took about a week for it to arrive. The only squabble I have with georgiaarms.com is that they quoted me the wrong price for shipping. At first they told me that shipping was going to be $22.00 making my total $235.00 for shipping to Arizona, and I got an email back about an hour later stating that they charged me the wrong price and shipping would be $40.00 bringing my total to $255.00. Not to bad for 500 rounds of 38 Special and 300 rounds of 45 ACP. Not a bad deal if you ask me. We are going to the range this weekend so I will post a review when we get back.

Oh I forgot to mention. If you cant make out what they say on the bottom, It says SPEER 45 AUTO +P and SPEER 38 SPC. Does anyone know if Georgia Arms get its bullets from Speer, or if they are just Speer casings?

That .45acp brass looks weird! Or is it just the pic?

Thanks for the warning. I was doing a little shopping for .45 cal if my local reloader doesn't punch some 45 rounds together in the near future, and I was wondering about G.A.

There's too many others out there to have an issue of any sort in buying ammo long distance.

GA loads all ammo from components. Everything I've ordered from them was starline brass.

They are top quality manufacturers.

I was not saying anything was wrong, the pic looks odd though.

It may just be the picture, I took it with my iPhone so it is not the best quality by any means. But the casings for the 45 ACPs are silver so I don't think they are brass, they might be aluminum or steel. I am not really sure. They are pretty heavy so I don't think they are aluminum but as long as they shoot I will be happy. I am going to the range this weekend so I will let you guys know how they shot probably on Monday. Over all I have to say the quality of them so far looks pretty good. They shipped all 800 rounds in a ammo can, and their service was pretty fast, but more to follow probably on Monday, or maybe sometime next week due to the New Year. Speacking of which I hope everyone has a great New Year.

It's nickel plated. It looks just like the Speer Gold Dot I have right here minus the +P. There are some shadows and a little glare but the case looks just fine to me.
