No no no, y'all have it all wrong. Any astute observer can plainly see that the primer strikes are off center.

Lon, send me your rifle and I'll fix it up for you.

The poor quality of the photo makes the primer strikes look off center, I don't think they really are.

Passed through Bastrop the other day.

Could be bad primers. Depending on how they were stored/shipped something could have happened to them. Did you try to hit then again? If they fire on the second strike, it is usually a seating depth problem.

I'm relatively new to reloading too, (about 5 years now)
Maybe this is a dumb question, but did you check to make sure your flash hole was clear of obstruction?
Sometimes I see that there is a little bit of polishing matter left in my cases after tumbling.

This was new brass and, therefore, hadn't been tumbled. Thanks though.
