DefaultDRT Ammo

Has anyone tested or shot this ammo? My friend said it's awesome but when I asked him how it shoots he said he hadn't shot it yet.
It advertises that it's core is powdered metals and "explodes" only when it his something organic.
Anyway, let me know.

I thought the same thing as you both did.
I saw they had some for my .40 and I was thinking about carrying it for self-defence.
Looks like I need to take my friends ammo out for a test
What would be best to shoot? Basic waterwelon or does something show more realistic results?

Jacketed hollow point snake oil.

Frangible rounds don't explode on impact, they merely disintegrate.

This is METROLOGY... Machinists use that term also. It's normally refered as TWO TENTHS

As a decimal:
= (0.001) in / 5
= 0.0002 in

"It advertises that it's core is powdered metals and "explodes" only when it his something organic."

And how is it to differentiate as to what is organic vs. mineral in order to "explode" at the right time?

A rose by any name is a rose. BS by any name is ...., right?

"if ya think its bs or dont know what to think yet check out this video."

I do think it's BS so far as recognising flesh as an organic material.

The "performance" in the video is exactly what I would expect from any properly chosen high velocity frangable bullet, including a well made thin jacket/soft lead core type.
