Default DRT ammo

Was wondering if anyone here has experience with this brand. Found them at my lgs about 5 dollars cheaper a box than other self defense rounds but at 85-90 grains the bullets are much lighter than the 124 grain I normally use

Those are lead-free frangible bullets.

Yes but I was looking more for feedback as to whether or not people carry these or have had issues with feeding or accuracy. Would be carried or shot from a glock 26

If you bought the 9mm, they produce 344 ft-lbs of energy at the muzzle. That is rather low for 9mm.

There's a good reason the premium ammo is more expensive.

Do not use frangibles for self defense
Period dot

They create ugly surface wounds and thats about it. Some goblin trying to get you to room temp is probably not going to notice being hit by one. Adreneline is a natural pain killer.

Always use appropriate sd ammo. I prefer hornady critical duty or defense

I use Winchester, Remington or Federal +P+ JHP ammo.

I did 30 years ago, but there is no way you can do the R&D the big ammo companies have, so your 'hand loads' probably will not be near as good at stopping the threat as theirs!!!

They feed fine in my M&P Shield and my 1911's. I would not think a Glock would have any problem feeding them.
