DefaultComing shortages

This is the begining of a world wide shortage of copper. brass . lead etc,so if you can still buy it it will be a hell of a lot more expensive in a few months than it is now.Might be a good time to stock up.

I'm no fan of tariffs or blocking trade, but China is buying up huge amounts of these (and other) metals and our scrap dealers are happy to sell to them. China is NOT our friend.

there is no real shortage of these metals. Enviormental regs have put a real crimp on the mining industry. Copper can be substituted with aluminum which is one of the most abundant elements in the earth's crust. Refining aluminum takes large amounts of electricity and guess whats preventing us from developing our coal reserves and using atomic energy. Its the greenies again. There are large amounts of Galena (ore of lead) in the ground. By the way silver is a byproduct of its of its extraction. Almost all shortages are touted as a way to shift the blame to industry away from where it belongs our goverment.
