I sent my wife to Walmart and told her to bring me some 9mm ammo. She comes back with maroon colored 50 round boxes of 115 gr 9mm ammo-$9.97 a box.I have never seen this stuff there before,it's the cheapest ammo iv'e seen in awhile.Has anyone else seen this ammo at Walmart and is it any good?Seems like a good price. __________________ S&W 915 9mm

Federal target ammo is great. I love their brass for reloading and the factory rounds are accuate as any other. __________________ If the pain is lacking so is the discipline...

Use it all the time in 9mm and 40 S&W, never had a feed problem or a single round not go bang. That's a good price, usually goes $11-$12 a box in my neck of the woods for 9mm 3-4 bucks more for the .40. __________________ "His nuts...they gone." - Karen "Bullseye" Smith

i havent got to try out any of the fed stuff lately from wally-world...but if its a fed brand it should run flawless...as for another good deal @wallysworld is the winchester 9mm 100rd value pack...20.34 out the door! when they have it...of course this is in north carolina...its a lil dirty but shoots straight and good brass to reload...as for the .45acp winchesters...very dirty but still a good buy |

I remember in 2003 my friend came up with his 9mm and .40 and we went to Walmart to get ammo and he spent $11 for a 100 pack of Winchester whitebox and $18 for a 100 pack of Winchester whitebox .40.Now at my local Walmart the 100 pack of 9mm winchester is $23.97. __________________ S&W 915 9mm

I usually fire the Blazer 50 round box; but, I tend grab what is available for the 9mm and the .357 (Damn, that still is very hard to find - at least .38 works in the .357) |

At my local Walmarts it's either the federal champion(like you have) or the winchester whitebox ammunition. I often use both, but lately I'm liking the federal more. It seems to be more accurate and seems cleaner. I have done any scientific studies to back that up though. |

I've noticed it to be cleaner too. I wish stores around here would get it in 45 so I can keep my Federal brass stocks up. I'm soon going to have to switch over to Winchester for a while. __________________ If the pain is lacking so is the discipline...
