Case of 1000 new PMC 115 grain 9mm for $200 - good deal?
 

Picked up a case of new manufactured 1000 rounds (20 boxes of 50 rounds each) of 115 grain PMC 9mm at the gun show for $200. Was that a good deal or did I get taken for a ride? What prices are you guys usually seeing for new 9mm for plinking/range practice?

That is what I can get Federal or Speer 9mm FMJ for. Plus tax or shipping depending on where I get it from.

For me i shoot winchester white box and around me its $22 for a hundred count box. But my next buy is gonna be BVAC 9mm and thats like $175 for a thousand rounds to see how that works.

That price is fine! Save the brass, it is good stuff. I bought 500 rounds of Ranger 124gr Nato 9x19 about a year ago for $85.00. That was a stellar deal.

I bought the scope and base for $140.00. A buddy from Germany got the scope caps, can w/ all the tools and goodies for $40.00. That setup goes for $500.00 complete. They are awesome people! Their shipping has gone up to 9.95, but it is still a deal.

yeah 190 to 200 is pretty good. specially if theres no tax or shipping. and pmc is decent shooting ammo

Yeah, no tax (and obviously no shipping from the gun show). I have the guy 2 $100 bills and carried this heavy ass case of ammo to my car.

Heavy? Try a 1600 round case of 1949 8x57. Big Wood case w/ rope handles.

I know when i bought 1500 rounds of .357 magnums online and it was shipped in a ammo can the weight was 66lbs of pure fun..

I shoot bvac. Hollows and fmj . Had good luck with them so far. Hollows are impressive for price!
