Carry Round of Choice
Pretty self-explanatory. What is your preferable brand of defense rounds? I'm currently looking to move to the Winchester Ranger T-Series in .40. I'm not sure what grain I should use though. So, what does everyone else trust their lives with?
Forgive me if a thread of this topic has been discussed here in the past. I admit I'm lazy and have not checked to see if one has been started before. I still think it's an interesting subject.

I usually carry CorBon 135gr JHP, however when I've had trouble finding that I've used Remington Golden Saber 165gr. I usually carry a Kahr K40, though sometimes it's a CZ100 or an Astra A75.

Remington Golden Saber--I've found them to be totally reliable in every gun I own.

Don't go light wt
Your choice of Ranger is good - big bang is speer gold dot - but most important, don't go too light in the bullet. In my Glocks - .40 180grain JHP (my choice) and no less than 165g - in .45 stay with 230 grain. I will admit, I am not sure about other brands but Glocks thrive on these.
The reason people go light is speed but at around 1000fps it doesn't matter because there is no effective hydrostatic shock until around 2000fps.
I sometimes use Winchester Ranger SXT from Tactical Defense Solutions - decent price - fresh ammo - ships pretty quick and around 75 cents/rd. in small quantities but I do get speer gold dot occasionly.
I also like Fed Hydro-Shok (PD supplier) post helps go through windshields and doors and Winchester PDX (most Walmarts have this).
