All of my pistol caliber dies are carbide.
I ordered 3 sets of dies from CH tool and die and had them TiN coat the sizing dies and expanders. The calibers were .223 SB, .308 SB and .475 Wildey Mag and after using them will not go back to another plain sizing die. You still have to lube the cases as with a carbide rifle die but they size so much easier than the plain type. If you wear out the coating, CH will replace it, no charge. Definately the way to go.

CH4D :: Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coating

Don't worry about it, I was just letting you know that it wasn't that much.
