Default bullet seating question

I have a box of Nosler 165 grain 308 Trophy Grade that I bought from Midway USA last year - I am about out so I got another box - this box I ordered straight from Nosler - I noticed that in the new box of ammo the bullets seem to not to be seated as deep as the other box - Will this effect anything

Stupid question I know

It shouldn't. But shoot a group with them before you go hunting, just in case.

Fire a couple shots from each box to be sure.

It shouldn't affect anything since ammo makers like that have to stay within SAAMI specs. Only issue would be if you chamber is out of spec.

Like others said, shoot a couple and see how it goes. Who knows maybe you'll get better accuracy with the longer ones.
