Bullet performance differences
 

I am new to reloading and this weekend I'm going to start building a .223 load. I have 2 different brands of ballistic bullets. Each are the same weight and composition are used for the same type of game as advertised by the manufactures. I will load 2 different powders. I know the powders will change the rounds performance, but will the bullets change performance? Hornady VMax vs. Nosler?

Depends on what you want the bullet to do. You need to consider bullet weight as well. This will be determined by your twist rate. Mine has a 1:9 twist and loves the 55gr VMAX. It's hell on varmints.
