Pretty much confirms what most of us already know.

Steel case ammo is fine for range practice.

Brass case ammo for serious social shooting.

Ill never shoot steel in my usp ever again had one split and I threw out the rest and stuck with federal.

Never had an issue since. That gun is like a laser beam. A HUGE laser beam.

I wish I could shoot steel at my local range. They don't allow you to shoot steel case.

It's your money, shoot whatever pulls your chain!

I wouldn't accept the extra cost of brass for range practice.

And BTW, I've had a dozen or so BRASS case factory rounds split on first firing over the last 60 years.

Then you should throw out all your brass cased ammo and stick to aluminum.
