Right. And the above explanations are pretty accurate. Lake City is a Government owned facility that produces ammunition. Federal has the contract to operate the facility. They produce X amount of ammo for the Feds. X+1 is sold by Federal on the open market. Since Federal is owned by the same company that owns Speer, one might see Speer/CCI ammo that was actually made at the Lake City plant.
