The problem with the SDB is that there is no future growth with that device. It works great, but you have to use special Dillon dies. If you want a Lee factory crimp die, (which is one of the better crimping systems out there), you can't use it. It doesn't fit in a SDB.
The best progressive press is a Dillon RL550. It does every caliber known to man, can be run as a single stage press when you need it and accepts industry standard dies.
It was my first press and it was the best.
PS: I do now have a XL650 and love it.
