Back In The Day Reloading Equipment
2 Attachment(s)
Twas the summer of '73 . . . . bored, hot and miserable. I was at an estate sell waiting for one single item to come up for auction. When it did, it was mine! A huge box of reloading equipment and conponents. That's when I first started reloading my own ammo.
I passed down a lot of that stuff to my son-in-law. Sold some other stuff. For some reason no one wanted my priming tools. I know there are members here that were reloading way before me. Show us you stuff, won't you? A shiny new quarter to the first person to identify the case in the tool. And yes, I have the rifle to go with it  |
Looks kind of like a .218 Bee, but the neck appears too long...

8mm Lebel?
|
It has to be the 348 Win, or maybe a 25-35Win.?

The quarter is still mine :D
|
Is it a 25-20 or 32-20???
|
25-20 is correct! Stop by and pick up the quarter at your convenience, motorG20 (he, he, he).

Hehehe:D. The scale of the photo made it hard to determine if it was a large or small cartridge. The design fits with many cartridges large and small. My next guess was going to be the 38-56 Win.

So what's the rifle to go with it?
|
I have a 1940's bolt action Savage Sporter, with a 4 round detachable clip.
To the best of my knowledge, Hornady is now the only one making a jacketed bullet. The #2510, 60 grain, .257 FP. It's not much of a round. I can barely get 2,000 FPS. |
