I use BLC-2 or W-748 for most everything from .223 to .30-06 and 8 X 57. Meters very consistently. Not the best for heavy Magnums like the 300 WM, but comes close to the universal powder for most stuff.

I use Ramshot TAC for .223 and can't complain. I have data from Western Powder with TAC for the Garand, but haven't tried it yet. It's about the best metering powder I have.

I switched to IMR 8208xbr for .223 and 22-250. Excellent results.
