Default Ar 308 failed to chamber?

I have been reloading .308 for my new AR and my bullets won't fully chamber. Built seems to not close all the way on my reloaded rounds. Any suggestions?

Check your overall length. Are your cases the correct length? Are you full length re-sizing? Will the re-sized cartridges chamber before loading the powder and bullets?

When reloading cases for most semi-auto rifles, the cases need to be full length sized. If you did this, and they don't work, check your COAL (cartridge overall length) and make sure you are within specs.Make sure that your sizing die is set up correctly in the press,so it sizes properly.

Which dies are you using would be of great help too.

Semi-Autos need small base dies..

Get your hands on a .308 case gage. After you size the first cartridge, check it in the gage. If it doesn't fit, the die in your press needs to be set correctly.
