I've been stocked for quite a while.

But if Osama bin Biden gets re-elected, you'd also better be stocked on food!

After 2009, I decided I would keep a decent supply of ammo on hand. As I shoot it, I replace it, and then some. I feel I have a good enough stock to shoot, without skimping for at least 6 months, and a year if I stretched it bit.

If history repeats itself, I have plenty until the crisis passes, until people start digging up their backyards to sell their excess, at a discount, on the forums.....

Never really been affected by shortages, price increase,politics,etc.etc. The whole purpose of handloading is not only to produce accurate ammo and various loads that best suit your particular firearm for a given purpose, but to make sure that you can enjoy shooting, hunting and provide for you and your families SD if and when necessary regardless of the situation at hand.

I've been in the hobby for 30+ years so I've been preparing from day one to not have to depend on supplier for loaded ammo or components to load my own while others are chasing down the last box of handgun ammo at the local Wally World or buying primer for $50 per K off gunbrokers.

This story came up awhile back about the number of rds. of ammo being purchased by government agencies for there agents an law enforcement divisions.

I did some research on the subject and when all is said and done it averages out to about 600 rds. often less per agent for one year for duty ammo and training purposes. The majority of the ammo is fired during the mandatory training and qualification secessions each agency requires during the year.

This makes sense. Especially when you consider the amount of Federal employees Hussein has added to the various departments over the last 4 years.

I came to the same conclusion.
