I think Varget would be a good powder for you to try. I have had nothing but great results with it.

I have found Varget a good powder but i found a better one for smaller boar riffles and that is "Bench Mark" which is Varget but in smaller extruded grains. Both of them made in Austraila.

P.S. I have gotten 3/8 groups with it at 100 yrds with a M4 14.5 inch barrel. I dont have the powder mesure right off but I think it's around 24 grns of Benchrest, 50 grn softpoit Hornady.

Not a black gun, but a bolt in .223 Rem. It has a 1:9 twist and likes 55gr VMAX over H335 with CCI primers.
