I'll find out how good the "No B.S. warranty" is soon.

Holy Crap!

Those things are built like a tank. I've managed to compress a couple case heads before, but the swagger never broke.... :o

Do let us know how the replacement goes. ;)

Wow. I'll bet that took some doing. I will bet a paycheck Dillon sends you a brand new one.

I'm just about to buy some reloading equipment.

Please do a follow-up with your customer service experience.

I will be waiting with bated breath to see how Dillon Precision handles this little ditty! http://i695.photobucket.com/albums/v...ons/cowboy.gif

Can't help but ask, did you make some funny looking primer pockets too?

I read a story of a guy that was taking his Dillon press with him to a remote base camp in Alaska and it fell out of the chopper and landed in a stream bed and basically blew apart. He had a few small pieces of the frame and that was it. He called them to buy a new one and they said send the old one in and they will replace it for free. He didn't believe them so he did. 2 weeks later his brand new press with a set of dies and a caliber conversion all set and ready to load showed up and was taken out to the base camp.

The nice thing about reloading companies (Redding, Lyman, Lee, RCBS, Dillon, Hornady) if something ever breaks you call them and they will replace it.

I destroyed a decapping pin in my 223 Hornady dies by doing something Tango and stupid. Called hornady to order parts and they said oh we got a better part for that and sent it to me for free even though I insisted I broke it by being stupid and it was no fault of Hornady the sexy lady voice (Yes you phuckers it was a dam women) said don't worry about. Two days later the parts showed up and were the upgraded parts.

Dillon will replace any part of their equipment but I would recommend buying the spare parts kit. It will come in handy. I don't care if it is a 2 cent allen screw they will replace it and ship it to you fast.

Dillon will take care of you. About a year ago, I dug my old mid-1980's vintage 450 progressive press out from 15 years of storage. I had lost the manual and the plastic tube on the powder measure had cracked. One email was all it took, and Dillon sent me a replacement tube and a copy of the manual in short order. All free of charge.

Stopped at Dillons yesterday and showed them my super broke swager. The guy behind the case looked at it and went and picked up a new in box Super swager and I walked out with it. Yep the No B.S. Warranty works like a charm.

On a side note, I've seen pictures of it, there it was right in the middle of the showroom, Dillons New .50cal progressive reloading press. They said that it should be available for sale before year end. Its an impressive piece of equipment. The thing that got me was the double size Powder measure. I still didn't think it was big enough. That and the full length carbide sizing die (est. $800 ea), got my attention.

Well back to swaging (got 800 30-06 cartridges left and about 2,000 5.56 cartridges).

On the three times that I have used Dillons customer service, they went well beyond. All three times were not fault of their equip. 1-Son's football-2-using Lee dies in their RL550-3-Scale calibration on an old scale, that did not come with a check weight. All times they went completely out of their way to help.:):)
