Wow 12 bucks a box 100 count cci mini mags i was whinning about 6.50 a box i still have some i bought for 2.50 a 100 box. What got me was see the 50 count box of 357 125 gr jhp for 45 a box if you could find it I have boxes marked at 11.50 in my safe. But wait you can get some for 22.00 a box now but its 25 count. That was it im reloading now and that still is to high
but whats a guy to do

reloading is but a step down the dark side, brother...casting bullets really saves $$$, but only if you have a decent supply of lead available. i consider my time free because i enjoy the process of turning scrap into usable material that works so well for me.

even my rifles, or should i say especially my rifles, benefit from casting. 100 yd accuracy is better than i can shoot off-hand. velocities are about 1800 fps, so i get a bit of "thump" without any outright pain...in my shoulder or pocketbook.
