I'm in Eastern WA and have noticed the same thing. Sportsman's Warehouse, Joes, White Elephant (local) and Wal-mart have all been really low or out of ammo. I got lucky today and drove past the white elephant and saw their delivery truck in the back. I went in and bought 5 boxes of 9mm 5 boxes of .357 mag and two 525 round boxes of .22LR. Cabela's in Post Falls, ID seemed to be well stocked when I was out there a few weeks ago tho.

I think I found out where all the ammo is,Gunbroker.com,it looks to me like many people are buying up all the ammo and trying to sell it for outragous prices. What does everyone think? I just could not believe what ammo was going for. Guess I will just have to sit on my little stash until this all blows over if it does. It does take the fun out of shooting though.

Running low in my local WalMart! Used to be able to walk in and buy whatever I needed. Today was the second time in the last two weeks that they were out of 9MM (at least as for I have shot) when I asked the counter gal she said they had Blazer 9MM so I bought the last two boxes. Never shot Blazer I typically shoot Winchester. The week before they had no 9MM of any kind.

just went down to the local scheels and picked up 300 rounds of fmj 115 grain for 12$ a box and a box of 20 147 grain. they just got a big shipment because they were almost completely out a couple days ago.

im up to 600 total now. i wanted to buy more, but i had to refrain for the bank accounts sake haha I guess it was nice of me to leave some for a few other people around town.

Powder and primers are all but impossible to find also. I spent most of a day looking at Midway, Mid South Shooters Supply, Natchez, Cabela's... Notta.

Doesn't sound too good, jeep. I'm going to try the gun show route the end of this month, and hope to have better luck. The Indy 1500 Gun Show is billed to be one of the largest East of the Mississippi, I hope their prices are not the largest also?

I just stopped at Gander Mtn. looking for 30-.06 ammo. They had price tags on the shelves for 75 different rounds, but there were literally only 12 different choices. The shelf was basically bare.

Not only a shortage, but the price goes up with every shipment. Supply and demand I guess.

I'm buying powder but having problems finding Win. primers. The shooting range where I work is also getting very low on factory ammunition. Could it be that the ammunition manufacturers are taking a lesson from the oil industry? It is all about supply and demand.
