Gun confiscation will not happen in my lifetime.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." I say 1 1/2 because one of them is the Ruger Single Six with the LR/mag cylinders, and I like the mags better.

Believe he said $25 for a brick of Federal Champions (525 rounds) not 50 rounds

This is the post I was referring to;

Quote:
I had a table at the Yakima wa. gun show this weekend, just for grins and giggles I took a brick of federal champion 22 ammo. I was embarrassed to put a price on it. so one guy asked me how much it was. I answered what will you pay for it. his answer was 15 bucks a box.. after my heart started beating I sold him 3 boxes for 40 bucks. and yes I felt like a thief. he named his poison I could never have charged that much. argie1891
It sounds like he let the customer name his price - $40 bucks for 3 boxes, or $13.33 a box.

Default Ammo shortage

At the last local show I was at( a small hall, with maybe 30-40 vendors) the sponsor who also had the biggest table(several together in fact) had 3 types of 22's at about $54- 68 per brick. He was also selling them in 3-for's, so we got 3 of two brands and 5 of the third..( Anguila super maximum at 3-$36, 5-$47 or the Brick for $68, Anguila Super Extra at 3-$26, 5-$40, or the brick for $60, and CCI blazer RN at 3-$21,5-$34, and the Brick for $54..) other then another guy selling Jiminez 22's with a brick of Thunderbolts for $149( no takers from the ammo but one person standing there bought a Nickel JA 22 for $125. Minus the Ammo...
We got 5 boxes of the blazer and 3 boxes ea. Of the two Anguila's,.plus 5 boxes of Federal Champion 22's for 37.50 from our local Pawn guy...
