There hasn't been to much a rush in ammo here in Arkansas that I've seen. Hardly anyone buying reloading stuff in local stores in Arkansas. There still a couple places here in Arkansas I can go to and wouldn't worry a bit whether I can find it or not.
Now how does a man with it the username texaboy live in arkansas?! I live in Magnolia where you stays at?

I noticed that there was an AR at my local wally world. I saw that it was like $900 if I remember correctly. I thought to myself, that is a lot for a Walmart AR. Then I looked closer and realized it was a Colt! I wished I had the money to blow. We have crap loads of ARs and ammo in Colorado.

That's how it is where i'm at in Kentucky. I was out looking for ar target stand the other night, so I went to Dick's, Gander, and Walmart and all 3 had plenty of .223 or 5.56. Dicks didn't have much of the cheaper stuff, only 3-4 boxes, but it's pretty much always like that. Oh, also gander still has plastic dry-boxes full of .22, and they even have lake city 5.56 in regular and tracer.

It's actually making me consider trading my ruger GSR in for an AR. I can't hardly find any .308 anywhere! There wasn't a single box at dicks, gander had two kinds but they were expensive hunting rounds, and Walmart had some for 20 a box but nobody was in the gun section to unlock the case for me. They leave 30-30 and 30-06 out of the case though.

I guess around my area those are the two calibers most guys are hunting with.
