Is that a good deal?
If you have to have it, it is not bad. When .223/5.56 gets back down to $.30 per round I might stop reloading all my plinking rounds for the AR. Until then I'll stick with my $.23 per round reloads.

At my Walmart there's a small group that know when the shipments come in, and they'll be waiting at the gun counter to buy out what they want.

Here in Connecticut you need a CCP or a ammo permit to buy ammo and it's helped the supply a great deal. I'm not in favor of any new gun laws but I've been able to stock up and get 2000 rounds of 22, 750 rounds of 45 and 500 rounds of 9mm. I even picked up 500 rounds for my 380. I like to keep at least 2000 rounds of 9, 45 and 22. The 380 I only put maybe 50 rounds a month through but couldn't resist stocking up when it's been nearly impossible to find any 22 or 380 in 8 months or so.
