I don't know how old you are, but if you were shooting in 2009, then you did not learn from experience.
I started keeping a SUPPLY and did not let calibers I shoot go below one or 2 boxes.
During 2008, I bought SOME kind of ammo each payday. So, when November 2012 hit, I had some stock . I still buy whatever I can when I can. Around here, ALL of the stores that I go to are rationing. But they still don't have 9mm or 22lr. I've pared down my guns to just a few calibers now. I've taken up Blackpowder guns, you can still get supplies for those.
If you think that I'm a hoarder , then I say I was prepared. AND, instead of spending time complaining, I'm figuring ways around it. I can still buy 7mm rem mag, I can still buy 270 win, and 45/70. I can still buy 50 cal lead balls, primers and Pyrodex RS. I shoot those caliber guns and am VERY stingy with myself on shooting my 9mm pistols, or 22lr guns.
If you think and care about SHTF, figure ways around it. THEY ARE THERE.
