Albuquerque is empty of .223/5.56, 9mm, .22LR to name a few. Sportsman's Warehouse had a nice stack of 7.62x39. They have also started 3 box limit on all calibers except shotgun ammo.

Yes it is, no AR's either .223/5.56 or .22LR models. Sportsmans wall or pistol is 10mm, some .45 ACP or larger in the cabinet, 9mm Tristar. Alot of .22LR pistols. I usually, check out Ron Peterson's, Rio Rancho shops, Charlie's to name a few.

The AR market has gone from stupid to insane. Some member at my local range put his AR on consignment. LRB lower with a PSA upper, unknown LPK. He got $1400 the 3rd day it was out. Ammo has completely dried up north of Atlanta. People in the secondary market are getting up to .80 a round for steel! If you really need rounds, check gunbroker. There are some dealers selling 1000 rounds of brass for $625 shipped. That's to much, but it's about the best price I've found in the last 3 or 4 weeks

I started stacking high in 1992. Made it through the last run, Not worried about this one. When I was looking for a lever gun before Oslackers 1st inauguration, I bought a .44-40. Always plenty of ammo when I go to the store. Reloading sure helps. I always buy components cheap. The last 500 55gr BTSP's I bought were 39.00 shipped. I still have battle packs of LC 5.56 that have 21.95 tags on them. Those are 300 round M855. I sold my AR, but my CZ527 has a CIP chamber, so the military ammo stays.

I stopped at Academy Sports, they said they get shipments every day except Saturday and Sunday. They had bulk boxes of 45 ACP but 9 mm, 40 S&W, and 223 were behind the counter only.

most people have no idea of how few ammunition factories there are in the united states. To all my fellow members here save your ammo u may need it in the future for more than target practice. If the govt wanted to stop the flow of ammo it would not be that hard to do. If i sound crazy just think how crazy it would have sounded 7 or 8 years ago that we would even have ammunition shortages and a president who wants to strip away 2 amendment rights through executive order. save ur ammo you and your family will need it!
