amateur research ammunition question

I'm doing research on a murder case, yet I'm completely in the dark when it comes to weapons and ammunition.

Anyway, I hope I'm giving you enough information, but would it be possible to use 9mm silvertip hollow points bullets in a Star Firestar M-43? Any specific brands you would use as STHP bullets?

Thanks in advance!!

Any specific brands you would use as STHP bullets?

What are you asking? The only "brand" of Silvertip hollowpoint bullet that I am
aware of is Winchester. They own the Silvertip name.

9mm Silvertip hollowpoints should work just dandy in any firearm chambered for 9x19,
9mm Parabellum, 9mm Luger, 9mm NATO etc.--they are all the same cartridge.

They should work fine in a Star Firestar m-43.

Thanks BillM,

as I explained I have little knowledge about ammunition and thought STHP was a generic description. Thanks for helping!
