Uhh, yeah. There is still no ammo to speak of at my local Walmart.

Funny.. Wal-mart never seems to ever have any 7.7 Jap...

I just wish I could find some .22's or some IMR-4895, Its the only powder I can find data for all my old Army guns.....

That's basically how I am too. I don't get to shoot often anymore so its hard to justify buying certain calibers. Also, we're in between permanent duty stations right now, so if it doesn't get shot relatively soonish its just gonna take up more room in the car.

Mostly all I've been buying lately is 30-30 and 20ga. We shoot those up. Still riding the "new gun" high. If I could possibly find 22 LR I'm sure I would but that.

As a couple other have said, its still fairly slim-pickings at the Wal-Marts I've been to lately. Lots and lots of .40 S&W though.

Funny how I posted that today. Just now I was there, and it seems every week there's more and more. 1st time in a year I've seen 22 Mag there. Bought the last box a CCI, and there was a decent pile of Speer Gold Dots.

Local Wally World has 1200 round metal ammo cans of brass 9mm for 497.00. Dang kids and their Christmas gifts took up my ammo $$ this month!

I always try to buy some if they have it. Those 1-2 box purchases add up really fast if you keep adding it a little at a time.

Which is what we have to do with Centerfire Ammo. Shotgun is a bit easier to grab when you need it At Wally, as long as you don't Need 16 or 28Ga., 12, 20 & 410 they have plenty of(although I don't remember .410's being so expensive!) Now If Only all the 22's weren't being "Hoarded" Locally and resold for 3 and 4X the price...
Went into the "other" pawn shop last week before I got sick, because they only started carrying Guns In Nov., but had Ammo at Stupid Prices since they opened. Well,..when 100 CCI Mini Mags are $30 per sleeve,.I walk away...

WWB 45 ACP ... $34.89/100 where I live @ the local Wally World. I know people doing the stock so they are able to tell me when the ammo is coming in.

I can usually get out of Walmart without buying ammo (x39 Tulammo is $5.17/20) , but Academy Sports is another story. I can't leave without getting any 7.62x39 Hotshot (Century imported Romanian steel case) for $5.49 a box. I just got 4 more boxes just a few minutes ago. Same price as Tula and Monarch but this is better IMO. I also usually get a box of 9mm Monarch for $11.99 for 50 rounds. Steel cased, lacquer coated, but it's cheap and it goes boom, I'll take it.
