What gun will you be using this load in and for what purpose ??? I might be able to help you out if I have the specifics..

Jim- Dan Wesson Mdl 15-2VH, 10 " bbl. Hunting load. Eastern Whitetail deer- 100 meters max- laurel thickets. Would not use a 200 gr solid as a defensive load. Have been using 2400 for 165 grain JSP 357s.

You can start with 10.0gr 2400 and work up from there. You won't get a lot of velocity with the 200 gr bullet out of a .357. It might be ok for a close range brush load but not much else.

Thanx Jim- understand heavy= slow. Looking for penetration, modest range, long barrel. My .357 snubbies carry gold dots, but tis is for Bambi (and the Ram that does not want to go over!)
