Default Academy Primer Find

Dropped in on my local Academny Sports and Outdoors just north of Houston today. Much to my surprise, found Winchester primers in stock for pistol and rifle. Price was $3.99 per box. Overheard one of the gun sales clerks tell a customer he had no idea why they had them to sell. This 5 year veteran academny employee was very surprised when store received the primers.

I found Win shotgun primers in the Round Rock Academy about 3 weeks ago.

I used to work for the one up in Norman, Oklahoma for two years and I've never seen a single piece of reloading equipment in that store unless someone brought it in. But I heard they may be getting some in soon? I'm with the employee and would be surprised haha

I was in Academy in Rogers Ar a couple weeks ago and talked to one of the sales people about reloading supplies. He said they are constantly asking corporate to send them some but they get nothing. Maybe hope from the sound of it.

That's the same store I frequent, I will be on the lookout as well!

One of my local gun shops called me today, and told me they have some CCI primers in stock. Now that's customer service!
She knows that I reload and figured she'd let me know about them. I told her I'd be there in the morning,I can always use more Small and Large rifle primers.
