Default 9mm JHP round. Very impressed.

I shot 3 different JHP's today, and dug 3 random rounds out of a soft ground. I was really impressed with one of them.

147gr WWB JHP - mic'd out at .45 at widest point expanded

Corbon DPX 115gr JHP - mic'd out at .47 at widest point (and lack of gnarly edges)

and the winner......

124gr Federal Hydrashok - No kidding, mic'd out at .58 at widest point with some really gnarly (cut your guts up) razor edges. And this does not count the two pieces that were fragmented and missing.

Just thought i'd give some report.

Holy Maccaroni! I just googled it and found this - Testing the four 9mm Federal Premium HST Rounds

It has the HST 9mm mic'd at almost 2 inches!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats insane. Now why would you need a .45?

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Thats INSANE! LOL

So insane, I just went and bought a few off of gunbroker.

Man, I had to edit this to say that that is just sick! I would absolutely HATE to get hit with that. I dont know if its the exploded pic, or that it shows the micro razor edges that would slice organs like a ginsu knife on crack flying 1200fps through hot butter????

Cane, are you a fan as well? I feed my XD45 these and once I get those mags I'll test them in my Kimber.
