Default 9mm Browning Court/380 ammo?????

A friend gave me some ammo they said is less than a month old.
It says "9mm Browning Court/380 auto".

Also on the box it says "4,4mm Boxer". It is FMJ 92 grs.

Is this something unusual or just labeling for different countries?

I want to shoot it in a 380 auto...any problem?

Nope! Kurtz, means short. The brass is reloadable. S&B? your .308 will eat it up.

.380 ACP is the US designation. 9mm Kurz (not kurtz, no "t") is the German designation. 9mm Browning short is the Belgian designation. 9mm Corto is the (I believe) Italian designation. All the same cartridge.

I believe 4.4mm is the primer size and Boxer (reloadable) is the primer type.
In life, strive to take the high road....It offers a better field of fire.
