9mm ammo

I'm sure it's been asked before. Where is the best deal for 9mm brass ammo. I tried Tull-ammo steel casing and will NEVER do that again. Is there ammo out the for less than 19 cents per round????

What he said! I shoot quality jacketed 124 grain rounds and I can do it for about $10-12 per hundred. About .09 for the bullet and a penny for the powder and about 2 or 3 cents for the primer. You can recoup the cost of reloading equipment rather quickly and tailor the round to better suit your gun.

Check here. Of course there is still shipping, sometimes it can be cheap or free if the deal is exceptional. You can select caliber under the main banner.

I get my Federal 9mm FMJ 115 gr. at Walmart for approx. $0.22 per round, and that's good enough for me.

Keep in mind that when you order ammo online there will be a shipping charge with most dealers and that will add to the cost of getting it. If there is a Walmart in your area you will not be able to beat their cost for the Federal or Winchester range ammo. Both of these brands are good and the brass can be reloaded. From what I have experienced I see no advantage in ordering ammo online unless the savings is significant. Even the surplus ammo online is getting pretty pricey. The days of cheap quality surplus ammo are over. I do realize that there are folks who live in the rural areas who must drive far to reach ammo retailers and online ordering is probably their best option.

Right now Cabelas has Federal 9mm for $9.99/50. Shipping is $5 if you spend $99. They will probably charge tax but so will Walmart.

If you don't reload, get together with 3 or 4 shooting buddies and try to order your ammo in cases of 5 thousand, and split up up among you.

If you don't already belong to a gun club with a FFL, join one, and order your stuff wholesale.:)
