9.3x62 factory Ammo recommendations for Elk/Brown Bear Please

Hi - I have a 98 standard action Husqvarna 9.3x62, model 146 converted from a 9.3x57.

I do not reload (or want to) and I would greatly appreciate hearing from members who have used Factory loads on Elk / Brown Bears.

Thanks in advance for your input..

That is some pricey stuff. Sorry I cannot be much help, I do like
the Nosler partitions for hunting.

If you own any 9.3. either a 62 or 57, reloading maximises the calibre, Prizi Partisan ammo from Serbia is very good for general hunting, Graff & Sons sells bags of Prizi round nose 285 gn bullets cheap. The Husqvarna 9.3x57 rifles are very good close range rifles but making your own ammo is necessary.

I'd be pretty careful using 9.3x62 in a 146. It may shoot so accurately you'll never pick up another. For Elk or Brown bear, the latter being the bigger issue. Your best bet is Norma ammo. It is so friggin' pricey it may give you a heart attack. I am curious as how you figured out it was a 146? I have a M46a which is
a small ring '96 action, My son an M46. I also have a 640 in 8x57, that will one day become a 9.3x62. Can you post a few pics of the rifle and action? I have 4 Swedes and two of my sons have them also.
