7x57 Mauser
Anybody reload for the 7 mm Mauser? If so, what are your experiences regarding loads (powder, bullets, etc.)? I am particularly interested in the Hornady 139 grain bullet. I seem to have lots of IMR 4350, so I think I would like to work up loads with it.

I have loaded for the 7mm Mauser for several years. I generally use the 139-140 gr pills. I use W-748 or BLC-2 just because that is the powder I use for .223, .308 and .30-06 and I can buy it by the case and save $

Any useful info you could add? Accuracy, rifle used, load recipes, etc.?

I have two Spanish short rifles. The data I use is no longer published so it is not prudent to put it out there. Check older manuals for such data. IIRC my pet load is about 2 grains under max from an older Hodgdon book.

I recently picked up a basic Hodgdon reloading manual for free at the reloading counter. 7x57 is listed with loads for 120grn and 140 grn. H4350 is one of the powders listed. I know it is in my regular manuals also. You can also go on line and get data from the Hodgdon website.
