.50 beowulf

Default .50 beowulf

hey guys, im going to be loading up my first batch of .50 beo. the load i plan on using says a 350 grain hp. could i use a 350 grain sp instead or would that not be smart?

If you don't have load data for the exact bullet your wanting to load,you can use data with a similar type/weight. Start off with minimum charges and work your load up,if you see pressure signs,back off some with the powder charge.

The big bore AR calibers will show pressure signs pretty quick when you get to maximum loads.
