5.56mm milspec reloading
 

I am attempting to replicate 5.56 milspec reloads. I do use U.S. 5.56 (not .223) brass and would like to turn out a cartridge which essentially gived a 62 gr. bullet 3100fps with roughly the same powder burn rate of milspec manufactured ammunition. Can anyone direct to me a reliable reloading table?

It would be easy for me to write a small book on the subject of loading the .223/5.56 NATO. It would get quite involved and would take too much time here.

Note their pressure tested data will get you your 3100fps and then some.

Hodgdon H335. (work up to 26.0 grains carefully)

Remington 7 1/2 primers. ( these are MilSpec)

Remington or Winchester 55 gr FMJBT (M193 ball)

Milspec cases.

Sorry, don't use 62 grain M855, so don't have data for it.
