45ACP and 45LC

Bought some hard cast RNFP let bullets to reload my 45 long colt. The bullets are 200g and . 452 dim. What I was wondering is if I can use those same bullets to reload .45ACP? Because I found reload data for 200g lead bullets just making sure before I make a batch.

I think they use the same bullet. .45 ACP uses a .452 bullet too.

For the ACP I wold stop at 230 grain. I use the 255 grain RN lead in my 25-5.

That's a good rule of thumb. I've experimented with 255 SWC in a 1917 .45 ACP revolver, but it gained nothing useful.

IME, the 200 Gr SWC is a very good all around target and plinking bullet for both ACP and Colt.

I have used 255 grain round nose flat point. I have used them in my 1911 and in my 45 colt. They work quite well for me.
