You must be a hellova lot better shot than me. I've tried to hit gallon milk jugs filled with water & cannot, with any regularity, hit them with my .45s from 100 yards. Sure I get lucky about 1/4 of the time but cmon-100 yards away with a .45acp is simply stunt shooting. And I consider my skill & my firearms to be at least reasonably good. The best I've ever done with my .45s is keeping a pop can rolling to a max range of about 50 yards.

using 4.3 grs of HP-38 ...both are excellent shooters/plinkers out to 100yards[/quote]

the loads i use are a little on the hot side...chrony @ 980fps...& i cant hit my car size targets eveytime i shoot with my S.A. at those distances..about 6 times out of 10 shots when shooting a 100yrds or so(cardoors)...although i will shoot up close to 1000rds of .45acp's a week sometimes.....so my handgun skillz are getting better...but with everything around here drying up...the reloading supplies i have stocked up on are getting low...so i might have to stop shooting so much...

I'm only a little over an hour away and I hunt out that way. I'd like to see some of this 45 auto shooting. What pistol are you using?
