WARNING THESE ARE SAFE ONLY IN MY FIREARM USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

My plinking load is as follows

Rainer 200gr Rn
5.0gr Hodgdon Titegroup
CCI or Federal primer
Winchester brass.

This makes for a nice low recoil load for plinking at the range and or gp shooting.

My own hard cast 225 RNL over 5.0gr of W-231 or 4.0gr of Red Dot. The Red dot load is actually a little hotter, cleaner and less expensive.

My range load:

200 gr Rainier JFP
5.7 gr Universal
CCI primers

Its a lower recoil round that is great to shoot all day or help someone step into a larger caliber.

mine isn't the cleanest load, but my 1911 loves it. (dang it!)

230 gr. hornady rn
8.8 gr. blue dot
cci lg pistol primer
rem. brass

blue dot burns really dirty.

My Taurus really likes the 200 grain Berry HP pushed by 5.5 grains of Titegroup or the same bullet with 8.5 grains of AA#5. Both are pretty close in accuracy with the titegroup maybe just a tad bit better!

My favorite practice load for my carry gun (P-14). Will group 1 1/2"or less @ 25 yards all day out of my Para.

220 gr. hard cast LFP.
6.0 gr. UNIQUE.
Winchester LP primers.

Average velocity-872fps.

WARNING: This load was worked-up by me and and found to be safe in all my 1911's. I have fired thousands upon thousands of rounds of this load in practice and competition throughout the years. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

My buddy had a buttload of cast lead SWC that he gave to me because they wouldn't run in his Gl**k. He swore up and down that they wouldn't run in my Kimber, but I could sell them off or something. They ran beautifully through my Kimber, with ne'er a failure to feed or feed malfunction.

He was floored.
