I know that Federal uses small primers on the .45 they make. What other brands?
If guns kill people, mine are defective.

Not all Federal ammo. Mostly the Blazer Brass line. The Hydra-Shok and HST should have large primers

I reserve the range pickup small primer cases for times when I'm likely to lose brass. I just toss the smalls into a bucket till I got enough to warrant a switch to the small primer on my 650 or if I already have it converted.

They work just fine with no velocity change vs large
