.308 - 165gr bullets
I have a Remington model 7 in a .308 that I use for most of my deer hunting because of it's size and weight.I shoot Accubond bullets in it and this year I went with the 165 grain bullets.I have noticed that the 165 grain bullets seem to perform on whitetail deer a little better for me than the 150 grain. Is this just me or is it just maybe the way it has played out for me this season by having great results using the 165 grains.

I have used both in my 30-06 the 165 were Nosler ballistic tips and they certainly got the job done but my rifle really likes the 150 gr Sierra BT I'm talking 3/4" 3 shot groups at 100 yards.
I have found them to be devastating on deer good expansion and penetration.

I use 150s in .30-06. Never had an issue.

Dropped a Canadian(Alberta) moose in his tracks with one shot.
