Default .223 bullets

What .223 bullet do you prefer to reload for coyote hunting. I been shooting 55gr. Hornadys and 55gr. Sierra Game Kings. I'm wondering if a 69gr. bullet would be more lethal, yet shoot accurately in a 1 in 9 twist. What brand bullet do you prefer. I would appreciate all and any incite on this subject. H.J.

I use the Winchester 62 gr Power Point and they drop in their tracks. Our "yotes" run up to about 65 pounds around these parts and the 55 gr SP's do just fine.

we make a 55-62gr open tip hand swaged core bullet that basically "explodes" on impact. Does an amazing job on critters, amongst other things

M193 ball drops them in their tracks and doesn't ruin pelts.

Nosler 55 gr bt are accurate and lethal on critters, shoot whatever is accurate for your gun. Whether fmj, sp,hp, or ballistic tip.

i get just as tight of groups using 69 grains out of my 1-9 savage as i do using 55 grainers. although at 200 yards, the 69 gr are about 6-7 inches lower than the 55's, which is about a foot low using a 100 yard zero

in my gun, the 52 grain bullets seem to shoot tightest & flattest, but of course that's just my gun
All I've had today is like 6 gummi bears & some scotch

My best shooting varmint load is a 60gr V-max,but most of the coyotes I get are shot with my 25/06.
It flat tears them up!
